Cookie policy
This document describes the rules for using cookies and similar technologies on the Estelvio platform (estelvio.com). The platform uses a minimal number of cookies - only those necessary for it to work. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files saved by a web browser on the User's device while using a website. They let the site "remember" certain information between page views or visits - for example, that you are signed in, or your chosen settings.
Cookies alone do not allow the User to be identified by name and are not computer programs, nor do they modify the configuration of the User's device in any way.
2. Which cookies we use
Depending on their purpose, the cookies used by the Platform fall into two categories:
- essential - without which the Platform cannot function correctly (e.g. keeping you signed in),
- functional - improving the comfort of using the Platform by remembering the User's choices (e.g. the selected currency).
The Platform does not use cookies for analytics or advertising purposes - visit statistics are collected as described in the Privacy Policy, without using any cookies.

4. Third-party cookies
The Platform does not embed third-party tracking code (e.g. analytics or advertising tools) and does not allow third parties to place cookies on the User's device through the Platform.
5. Legal basis
Under Polish and EU law, storing cookies that are necessary for providing an electronic service (such as those listed in this Policy) does not require the User's separate consent - it is a necessary condition for the Account, the cart and the order placement process to work correctly.
6. How to manage cookies
The cookies listed in this document are necessary for the basic operation of the Platform (signing in, the cart, placing Orders, choosing a currency) - blocking them in your browser may prevent you from using your Account and placing Orders.
Every popular browser lets you view, delete and block cookies in its privacy settings:
- Google Chrome - Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data,
- Mozilla Firefox - Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and site data,
- Safari - Preferences → Privacy → Manage website data,
- Microsoft Edge - Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
7. Changes to this Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy may be updated periodically, in particular if new Platform features using cookies are introduced. The current version of this document is always available at this address.
